We have two good, conservative candidates running for Municipal Court Judge in our upcoming Primary Election, May 2.
You can only select one. I'm writing on behalf of the one who has been active in our court systems and active in both the Republican Party and the Washington County Republican Women's Club for a number of years: Attorney Amy S. Bean.
When leaving our County Prosecutor's Office a few years ago, Amy was immediately hired by Attorney Paul G. Bertram III, our Prosecutor for the City of Marietta, where she now serves as our Assistant Prosecutor for the City.
Multiple days a week you will find Amy representing city residents before the Municipal Bench, capably handling all manner of arrest warrants and individuals.
Amy is even known in Morgan County for her temporary service there, substituting for the Prosecutor of that County before landing back home in Washington County.
She has a reputation for being a flag-waving patriot, faithful conservative, hard-working and able prosecutor, community volunteer, member of Marietta High School Band Boosters and faithful supporter of her son on the Marietta High Wrestling Team.
Especially in an arena where it seems being a local judge is mostly considered a man's world, Amy has courageously stepped up to the plate to ask for your vote.
Amy pledges to represent you well and make you proud as she judges firmly but fairly, to help keep law-abiding citizens in our midst and dole out punishment where it is needed.
