Marietta City Taxes due, have you filed?

Tuesday is the deadline for filing and paying 2022 Marietta City income tax and first quarter of your estimated taxes are also due Tuesday.

The 2022 rate of 1.85% on all earned income applies to all individuals 18 years of age and older who live and/or work in the City of Marietta and all businesses located or doing business in the City of Marietta need to file on their net profits.

Individuals who work for businesses in the City of Marietta that withhold city tax from their wages do not need to file unless you have another source of income or have an active account with our department from a previous year.

Extensions for filing will be honored with a copy of the Internal Revenue Service extension.

Any tax liability remaining unpaid after it becomes due will be subject to penalty and interest.

Forms are available in our City of Marietta Income Tax office, 301 Putnam St., Suite 1100, City Hall; our website: www.mariettaoh.net; phone: 740-373-4032, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
