Sheriff supports Jedlink for Marietta Municipal Judge

2 min read

Randy Jedlink is a candidate for Judge of Marietta Municipal Court and I fully support him for this position. Randy, his wife, and young daughter are Washington County residents and have chosen this area to live, work and raise their family. Randy attended Purdue University and graduated from the University of Toledo School of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2010. Occupations in private practice, criminal, civil, business, and family law have given him the necessary experience for the Marietta Municipal Court Judge position.

In 2017 he was selected by the Honorable Judge Timothy Williams to be the Magistrate for the Probate and Juvenile Court in Washington County. In this capacity, he has handled thousands of criminal, traffic, custody, child support, and protection order cases. This has given him experience running a courtroom, taking testimony, applying the law, and issuing orders and decisions.

Randy is interested in the betterment of this community and making it as safe as possible for everyone. He will consider all aspects of each case within the discretion of the court and render appropriate and just sentences for all parties concerned. He is clearly respected by members of law enforcement in Washington County and is an individual of high integrity and outstanding character.

I have met and dealt with numerous attorneys during my 50 year law enforcement career and in my opinion, Randy Jedlink is highly qualified and the best candidate to fill the position of Judge of Marietta Municipal Court.

Larry R. Mincks Sr.

Washington County Sheriff
