Thank you

Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society of community colleges.

It has 3.5 million members and over 1,200 chapters in the United States and around the world. Its mission is to encourage scholarship and develop leaders. The Alpha Rho Gamma Chapter has been active in Southeastern Ohio for the past 33 years.

This summer, the Alpha Rho Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa hosted a conference at Washington State Community College.

The conference was dedicated to Eve, Inc., the shelter for battered women.

We asked all 41 chapters in the Ohio Region of Phi Theta Kappa attending the conference to bring items that Eve needed, like personal hygiene items, toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, baby wipes and bottled water.

Many local organizations also donated, and it was successful. We want to thank them for their valued support.

Therefore, we want to thank the 41 chapters from Ohio and West Virginia and the many businesses that supported our effort to help Eve.

Those businesses include Huntington Bank, Marietta Community Foundation, American Flags and Poles, First Mutual Bank, Teri Ann's, Warren's IGA, Mancan and Wash-Rite Unlimited Car Wash.

Thanks for your support.
