The Right Path for Washington County is already looking ahead to summer 2024 and we want to thank all our community supporters who help us provide safe events for our youth and their families.
Providing healthy behavioral choices, our youth farmers' markets and summer pool parties help kids stay connected to their community. Resource sharing, role models and mentors allow them to know where they can go for help/assistance if they need it. Grants and fundraisers, as well as many community organizations, the WCBHB, Juvenile Court, MCF and individual donors contribute to our ability to continue our mission to promote healthy youth development.
We partnered with the WC Behavioral Health Board to host our Grief and Overdose Walk in August, our Recovery Day Walk/Celebration in September and alongside Ely Chapman Education Center we held our first annual 5K/Wellness Walk.
Our Spagna's spaghetti dinner fundraisers in March and October are always a huge success. Special thanks to owner Kevin Whitby, manager Robert Farley and their fantastic staff for their hard work. We appreciate their partnership and our community spaghetti lovers who support us. The Right Path partners with the MPD for Medication Take Back in April and October to ensure our community can properly dispose of unused, unwanted and/or expired meds. This keeps our families, pets and water supply safe while ensuring these medications do not end up in the wrong hands or on the streets. Thanks to the MPD for keeping our community safe. This past October 53+ lbs of medications were disposed of.
Please check out our Facebook page, The Right Path for Washington County and find out how you can get involved. Our youth are the future leaders of our community!
