To the Citizens of Washington County:
My name is LeeAnn Price. I moved to Washington County over 50 years ago and I consider this my home. My husband and I are active members of the community and we raised both of our kids in the Fort Frye School District. We love the community we live in and serve.
I am writing to you today to show my support for Mark Warden as Sheriff. Through my involvement in the awareness and prevention of suicide in Washington County, I have worked firsthand with state and local law enforcement as part of the first responders' team to support the families of our community that are impacted by suicide.
I have had the privilege of witnessing Mark's compassion and kindness for those impacted by suicide. He has gone above and beyond to provide resources to help families start their healing process.
Mr. Warden attended a suicide survivors' event and was not afraid to be vulnerable about his own personal experience with loss by suicide. Mr. Warden was able to open himself up and connect with the community on a very personal and emotional level.
Mr. Warden cares about the community he serves and wants to see Washington County thrive.
When deciding between two candidates for Sheriff, I look for the individual that shares my core values and opinions. I am looking for someone who deeply cares about our community and the individuals who live in Washington County. Please join me in voting for Mark Warden for Sheriff March 19.
