Please support ALL Volunteer Fire and E Squads Departments.
They volunteer to show up to help any and all of us any day or night. They leave their families, jobs, sleep, whatever they are doing to come help us!
Then they have to do hours and hours of classes and training plus organize dinners, socials, and etc. to raise money to buy equipment and have funds to VOLUNTEER for our communities. I spoke with a wonderful squad member in a store this week in between her two runs that morning.
She is in her 80s and has VOLUNTEERED for 46 years. God Bless her and others.
They are short volunteers and need help with our finances, support and more help. Barlow Volunteer Fire Department and Squad is having a second pancake dinner, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 24. Let's support them and ALL others any time we can.
We truly appreciate and want to thank all of these wonderful volunteers.
Try to imagine in your community trying to make an emergency call and no one there to help you when needed.
