We have a very important election in Washington County that is scheduled for March 19th, with early voting starting February 21st. It is my opinion that Mark Warden is the best candidate for Sheriff’s Position. I have known Mark Warden for 30 plus years as a friend and as an exemplary employee of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

One of the many traits of his employment that stands out to me is his work within the School Districts of Washington County. Mark has proven that he is dedicated to the safety of citizens of Washington County, including both the youth and elderly citizens.

As a former Washington County Commissioner, I had the pleasure of working with Mark as part of the Administrative Team from the Sheriff’s Office. Communication with the Sheriff’s department is ongoing concerning the maintenance and upkeep of the Washington County Jail.

It is vital to have our next Sheriff well informed of administrative duties as well as budgetary issues. With this in mind Bonnie and I will be voting for Mark Warden and would encourage the citizens of Washington County to do the same.
