Sometimes a person can be overwhelmed by the negative news and events on the local and national scene. I wanted to take to take a moment to publicly thank a local business for their generosity.

I work for the Driver Rehabilitation Program at Marietta Memorial Hospital as a Certified Driver Rehabilitation Program. We serve individuals in our region whose ability to drive is complicated by a congenital or acquired disability.

Our program was recently gifted next level adaptive driving controls for our training vehicle. These controls were donated by Canadian owned Howell Ventures/Sure Grip Inc.

Marietta Mobility provided all the labor to install these controls without cost to us. Dean then provided training in the use of these devices. Steve and Cindy Hesson and the Team at Marietta Mobility are the areas only NMEDA certified installers of adaptive equipment. This company has provided great customer care over the 20 plus years that I have worked with them.

I am so grateful to live in a community where neighbors care for neighbors still. I will be forever grateful for the generosity of Marietta Mobility!
