Lions Club Turns 100
The Marietta Noon Lions Club has reached a remarkable milestone this year, marking 100 years of service to our community.
This achievement not only reflects a century of dedication to our community but also underscores the impact that collective action can have in improving the lives of others.
For 100 years, the Lions have tirelessly supported our community through various initiatives, from vision screenings to local scholarships to environmental projects.
The club’s efforts highlight what can be achieved when individuals unite for a common purpose.
Imagine if every person in our community were to engage in service — what a positive force that could be! Together, we could address pressing issues and uplift those in need.
I encourage everyone to consider joining a service organization like the Lions Club.
Whether you want to meet new friends, learn new skills, or simply lend a hand, there’s a place for you.
The Marietta Noon Lions would love to welcome new members to help us place American flags on the Putnam Street bridge for Bridge of Heroes, collect litter from State Route 821 for Adopt a Highway, create personal blankets for children in foster care, raise money to fight pediatric cancer, provide vision screening and eyeglasses for underprivileged children and adults, and more.
And the best part? You’ll have a lot of fun.
Your involvement can help keep the spirit of service alive and well in Marietta for the next 100 years and beyond.
Reach out to us on Facebook or mariettanoonlions.org if you’d like to join the cause.
Help us not just celebrate our club’s incredible history, but also look ahead to how we can all contribute to making our community an even better place to live.
