Dear Editor,
Mr. Donald Trump was elected President in 2016. He and millions of his believers categorically state he was re-elected President again in 2020. Since Mr. Trump has already been elected twice, his name should not appear on the ballot in 2024 because no person can be elected more than twice to the office of President of the United States.
Vote YES on Issue 1 to eliminate, or at least greatly reduce, the relentless gerrymandering in the State of Ohio. Passage of this issue will result in the creation of a committee representing Republicans, Democrats and Independents, that are not politicians and more accurately reflect the diversity of our state's population. Passage of Issue 1 is vital to our state's political future and to creating a state government that is more representative of various political views and parties. Vote YES!
Vote No on Mr. Joe Deters, a candidate for State Supreme Court. Mr. Deters was appointed to the court with no prior experience as a judge! He does not deserve and is not qualified to continue to serve on Ohio's Supreme Court.
Vote to support Michael Kripchak for the 6th Congressional District. His plans include supporting our farmers, expanding manufacturing and improving public education in our district.
Finally, I remember Mr. Trump's first term as President. Everyday was chaotic! A revolving door of aides, assistants, department heads, generals, etc. Everyday was filled with lies and more lies. Many of his "inner circle" have been charged and/or convicted of crimes. If elected, Mr. Trump has promised to punished and persecute his opponents, stated we won't need to vote again for our President (like a dictator), the rich will have more tax reductions, the National Hurricane Center will be eliminated (Project 2025 proposal), maternal care for all women will continue be greatly restricted, and once again he will not accept any election result that does not confirm him as the winner. In conclusion, Mr. Trump is too old, too mean, too erratic and untrustworthy to be our next President of the United States of America!
