Thank you to the community

The Kiwanis Club of Marietta thanks the community for supporting the 69th Annual Pancake Days, held February 7 & 8, 2025, at the Elizabeth Sugden Broughton Community Building. Pancake Days is the club’s largest fundraiser and all the proceeds go back into our community. We are pleased we reached our goal of between $20,000-25,000 profit this year. The Club members served over 1,000 people in just 1 ½ days.

Kiwanis is global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The clubs purpose is to promote human and spiritual values, good citizenship, fellowship and altruistic service through voluntary action. The Marietta Kiwanis Club supports services in the community, maintenance of Lookout Park, Terrific Kids at Washington School, picnic shelter by the Marietta College Boathouse, sponsorship of the Marietta and Waterford High School Key Clubs, the Marietta and Waterford Elementary School Builders Clubs, support of local food pantries, and Key Club Scholarships. The club also takes part in bell-ringing for the Salvation Army and placement of historical markers throughout Marietta.

Thank you to the following for their support of our event: The Broughton Foundation, Marietta College Delta Tau Delta and Alpha Tau Omega fraternities, the Marietta and Waterford Builders Clubs and the Marietta and Waterford Key Clubs, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Crystal Spring Water, WMOA, Marietta Times, WTAP, Peoples News and support from other local businesses.

The success of this annual event would not be possible without the continued support of the Kiwanis members, volunteers, basket and raffle donors, and a benevolent and hungry community.

Sincere thanks from the Kiwanis Club of Marietta
