I urge all those in government to really look at their role in the events that are happening since Jan. 20, 2024. Those in D.C. need to get some spines, brains and hearts to begin to work for the people of WV and America. Those in Charleston and Columbus need to stop using our tax money to pay for their private schools, wasting money on plaques for each classroom, and providing protection for all workers, including mine workers. We need all those fired by Musk to be reinstated. We need clean water and air, health care, nutrition – like Meals on Wheels, SNAP, foreign aid.

One way to make cuts in the budget would be to stop paying for a trip to a golf course in Florida, stop spending so much on the military. Stop using the military for control of citizens. Stop the raids by people wearing masks, carrying guns, entering and taking people without a warrant.

When they talk about the government, they talk about themselves. We do need a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
