On Dec. 2, 2025 the nation with observe a National Day of Giving. The annual drive highlights the needs of non-profits such as the Washington County Homeless Project.

The Homeless Project operates a drop-in/warming center from 12-3 p.m. and provides a warm meal, clothing, laundry and shower facilities and counseling assistance for persons who have no place to live. The average daily attendance ranges from 30-50 daily, Monday through Friday. The center is staffed by part-time staff and volunteers.

Wendy’s Community Night on Dec. 2 from 3-7 p.m. will benefit the Homeless Drop-in Center. Purchases made at the Wendy’s Restaurant at 283 Muskingum Drive will support the non-profit as Wendy’s will donate 10 percent of sales during the four hours.

Please put Dec. 2 on your calendar and plan to have a Wendy’s meal while supporting this worthwhile local non-profit. Thank you.
