Stephanie Lang for Washington County Commissioner
Dear Washington County voters,
Stephanie Lang, current candidate for Washington County Commissioner, held a Meet the Candidate Townhall at the Marietta Armory on Wednesday March 25, 2026. Mrs. Lang fully supports a three year moratorium against a massive dump of toxic radioactive brine into our ground from out of state and the initiative to stop injection well permits. She says we must protect our water.
She believes the budget should never have a negative ending balance or an operation where spending is more than what is brought in. Her philosophy is to do what is right by God and for the people. She believes that prosperity is not only finances but good health and peace.
At that Town hall we learned that the current commissioners have all signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) with the data center. Mrs. Lang said that she will never sign an NDA and she disagrees with giving tax abatements to Billionaire corporations.
Mrs. Lang also said that she is willing to go to the State house and speak on behalf of Washington County voters and she will be transparent and open with the public. Stephanie Lang was a Fort Frye Local School Board member for 12 years, where she researched and provided the board answers that assisted the school district in making very important decisions.
Stephanie has a self-funded campaign and I highly recommend that you look her up on facebook and ask about how you can help. I have known Stephanie for 36 years. She has integrity, she is honest and very transparent. She is someone who will hold herself and others accountable. She holds herself to the same standard that she expects others to abide by.
Thank you for your attention to this matter,
