Five Marietta baseball players recognized as All-OAC

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Marietta College had five players named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball team as announced Monday morning, including three first team honorees.

Nick Bonnizzio, Cael Magill and Austin Ziance were all named to the first team. Forrest Havanis and Jacob Rocky earned honorable mention honors.

Bonnizzio was placed on the All-OAC first team for a second straight season. The Pioneer third baseman/outfielder was tied for 6th in the OAC with a .371 batting average. He led the Pioneers with 11 doubles and four home runs.

Magill earned All-OAC first team accolades for the first time. The outfielder led the team in hits (52), runs batted in (30), and was 12-for-14 in stolen bases. He was 6th in the OAC with a .371 batting average. Magill also played errorless baseball in the outfield for the Pioneers with 51 putouts and two outfield assists.

Ziance compiled a 4-1 record in 12 starts as he was named to the first team for the first time in his career. He pitched a total of 69.2 innings and led the OAC with 72 strikeouts and an earned run average of 1.94. Ziance was also second in the conference in victories and inning pitched.

Rocky earned All-OAC accolades for the first time after posting a 3-2 record with a 3.29 earned run average in 2025. He struck out 38 batters in 52 innings pitched.

Havanis is also a first-time all-conference honoree. The Pioneer reliever appeared in 15 games during the year. He finished with 4-3 record and earned a save, pitching in 33.1 innings and striking out 18 hitters.
