Mile marker 13 is at the Parkersburg Art Center. Just after runners and walkers cross Eighth Street, participants should be able to hear those in front of them being announced as they cross the finish line. Beginning a descent, runners and walkers will get to enjoy a nice final segment of the Parkersburg News and Sentinel Half Marathon. When you cross the red finish line, with people congratulating you, grab a refreshing drink and a snack as you cheer on others finishing the race.

The News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two-Mile Race will be held Aug. 16.
