The large United Square building is a turning point of the race between mile markers 10 and 11. This area is a popular spot for spectators to watch the race and to encourage runners and walkers. This building is also Parkersburg’s highest building.

The News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two-Mile Race will be held Aug. 16.
