* Emmy Ward, Marietta: Went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored as Marietta won at Waterford, 13-3, in six innings. Ward also earned the decision after allowing two runs over four innings of work. Teammate Sophie added two hits, including a double.

BASEBALL

* Lucas Hager, Morgan: Pitched a complete-game victory as Morgan won walk-off style over Philo, 3-2 in seven innings. Hager also went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored a run. Teammate Aaron Baker accounted for three of Morgan’s eight hits.

TENNIS

* Adam Erdelyi, Marietta: Erdelyi defeated his opponent at No. 1 singles without allowing a game while winning in straight sets as the Tigers boys tennis team handed Zanesville a 5-0 defeat.
