SOFTBALL

*DeLaney Gates went 3 for 4 with a home run and seven RBIs while younger sister Danica Gates went 3 for 4 with a triple in Warren’s 10-7 win over rival Marietta. Warriors starting pitcher Gracie Adams went the distance with eight strikeouts. Chloe Harris doubled twice, singled and plated three runs for the Tigers while Abby Miller was 3 for 5 with three RBIs.

*Kaelyn Mullins went 4 for 4 with a triple, double, five RBIs and three runs scored in Gilmer County’s 15-0 win over Ravenswood. Kenley Hartshorn pitched four no-hit innings with six strikeouts and went 2 for 3 with a triple and an RBI for the Titans while Emeri Hickman doubled and tallied four RBIs.

*Gracie Rush doubled twice, scored three times and drove in three runs in Williamstown’s 16-1 win over Braxton County. Sophia Adkins was 2 for 2 with three RBIs for the Yellowjackets.

*Jessa Anderson went 3 for 3 and scored four runs in Magnolia’s 7-5 loss to Clay-Battelle.

BASEBALL

*Turner Shriver went 2 for 3 and scored three runs while Brayson Hayes went 2 for 2 with three RBIs in Ritchie County’s 8-5 win over Doddridge County. Cabel Hall homered and drove in three for the Bulldogs.

*McGwire Winner went 3 for 3 with a triple and three runs-batted-in in Morgan’s 12-11 win over Philo. Carter Larrick went 3 for 5 with a double and five RBIs for the Raiders.
