McFarland Aces MCC

Brian McFarland, of Marietta, got his second hole-in-one on hole No. 17 at Marietta Country Club. McFarland aced the 127-yard hole using a pitching wedge. Witnesses were Bill McFarland, “Coach” Joe Matheny and Scott Barrows.

Sovil Aves GCWV

Zack Sovil, of Parkersburg, recorded his first ever hole-in-one at the Golf Club of West Virginia. Sovil aced hole No. 12, a 135-yard par 3, using a sand wedge. The shot was witnessed by his playing partner Riley Garrison.
