MC women compete at Dad Vail Regatta

CHERRY HILL, N.J. — The Marietta College women’s rowing team wrapped up its season at the annual Dad Vail Regatta Saturday. The Pioneers finished fourth in the Division III Varsity 8+ Petite Final.

The Pioneers opened racing in the morning time trial on Friday. Marietta was eleventh in the time trial with a time of 7:53.287. In the Friday afternoon semifinal, the Navy Blue and White placed fifth earning a spot in Saturday’s Petite Final. Vassar won the semifinal with a time of 7:06.550, while the Pioneers finished in 7:50.040.

The Petite Final featured four boats with Bryn Mawr winning with a time of 7:32.030, followed by Stockton (7:34.060), Franklin & Marshall (7:38.300), and Marietta (7:39.510).
