*Turner Shriver was 4 for 5 with a home run while teammate Landon Shiplett also had four hits in Ritchie County’s 17-14 loss to Fairmont Senior. Joey Dalrymple finished 3 for 4 with two RBIs for the Rebels.

*Hayden Jones was 3 for 3 and recorded his 100th career hit in Waterford’s 8-4 win over Meigs. Braun Doak pitched a complete game with four strikeouts and was 3 for 4 with three RBIs for the Wildcats.

*Eli Davis tripled, doubled and drove in a run for Parkersburg South in a 9-2 loss to Hurricane.

*Dayne Murphy was 2 for 4 with two RBIs in Doddridge County’s 8-3 loss to Sissonville.

SOFTBALL

*Kaylie Barth homered and drove in three runs in Marietta’s 11-1 win over Federal Hocking. Chloe Harris doubled and drove in two runs while pitching a five-inning complete game for the Tigers.

*Zoey Smithberger pitched a complete game with no walks and four strikeouts in Waterford’s 2-1 win against Nelsonville-York. Kaylie McCutcheon doubled and drove in a run for the Wildcats.
