Kenyon College scored three first half goals as the Owls defeated Marietta College, 3-0, Wednesday evening in men’s soccer action. The loss drops Marietta to 2-2-1 overall. Kenyon improves to 5-1-0.
“Kenyon is very good and they showed just how good they are in the first 25 minutes. It was a wakeup call for us,” Marietta head coach Joe Bergin said. “Having said that, I am very proud of the boys for their effort after the trio of goals. It would have been easy to roll over and give up five more. We didn’t and that is something to build upon.”
