Marietta girls roll past Brooke, 9-0, on senior night

DEVOLA -- Fiona Fowler and Grace Spencer both recorded hat tricks as Marietta celebrated senior night with a 9-0 win over Brooke on Monday at Jerry Brock Field.
Fowler, Spencer, Adelia Berner, Braxtyn Kroft and Jaydynn Felter all were honored prior to the match.
Berner scored a goal in the ninth minute while Kroft and Fowler tallied a pair of assists apiece for the Tigers, who improved to 11-1-2 and are ranked 12th in the state in Division III.
Parker Weppler had two assists while Blaire had one goal and one assist for Marietta, which got its final goal of the night in the 42nd minute from Omnia Offenberger.
The Tigers registered 19 shots on goal in the match with Brooke (3-8-1) only having one, which Maura Misel saved for her 10th shutout of the campaign.
Marietta hits the road Monday against Amanda-Clearcreek.
