BASEBALL *Belpre’s AJ Copen struck out 10 batters over innings and went 3 for 4 at the plate with four runs scored and three runs driven in. *Casey Burkhammer fanned eight batters over four shutout innings in St. Marys’ 11-3 win over Ritchie County. Kyle Bullman was 2 for 4 with two RBIs while Shane Deweese added two hits and scored three runs. Grayson Dodd doubled, singled and drove in all three runs for the Rebels. TENNIS *Will Haller and Mills Stull picked up singles wins to help lead Marietta past Jackson, 3-2. Owen Mason and Alex Greenwood won their doubles match.

ADA, Ohio — Marietta College split an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader at Ohio Northern University Sunday afternoon at Wander Field. Marietta won game one, 12-1, and the Polar Bears earned the split with an 8-5 win in game two. Marietta is now 5-12 on the season and 3-1 in the OAC. VINCENT — Warren put together a commanding performance on both the girls and boys sides to sweep team titles at the Fairweather Relays Saturday. The Warren girls totaled 70 points to fend off Federal Hocking (52) and Alexander (30), while the boys were even more dominant, racking up 80 points ahead of Alexander (48), Fort Frye (16) and Federal Hocking (16). BELPRE — The Marietta girls opened the track season with a strong showing, piling up 116 points to claim the team title Friday at Belpre's Rhodes Lawncare Back on Track Season Opener, while Waterford narrowly edged the Tigers for the boys championship.
