In-N-Out Burger employee among 3 dead in shooting at Idaho fast-food restaurant, owner says
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- The owner of a fast-food restaurant chain says one of her workers was among three people killed in a shooting in southern Idaho The shooting happened Saturday at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho. In-N-Out owner Lynsi Snyder released a statement on social media confirming the employee’s death. A Twin Falls city spokesman says seven others were wounded in the shooting, some critically. Police who responded to the shooting found the body of the suspected gunman in an area near the restaurant. The FBI is encouraging the public to submit images and videos related to the shooting.
Eastern Washington fires have burned 600 structures and forced the evacuation of 5,000 homes
Authorities say about 5,000 homes have been evacuated and about 600 homes, businesses and other buildings have been destroyed by wildfires that remained uncontained Sunday in eastern Washington state. The fires burned more than 8.2 square miles around Spokane, the second largest city in Washington, and were among dozens across the western U.S. The number of fires has stretched the ability of federal, state and local agencies to fight them. No deaths have yet been reported from the fires in the Spokane area.
