Tri-County to flush fire hydrants

Tri-County Rural Water and Sewer District will be flushing hydrants from Monday through May 5. Flush service lines until brown water clears.

Gospel sing at Mount Hermon Church

A gospel sing featuring The Tribe of Benjamin of McConnelsville will be held at 2 p.m. April 30 at Mount Hermon Church, Ohio 550, Amesville.

MHS Class of ’54 gathers May 9

Purse bingo at

Betsey Mills Club

The Betsey Mills Club will hold purse bingo at 1 p.m. April 30. There will be more than 20 name brand purses offered from Ralph Lauren, Betsey Johnson, Stella and Dot, Thirty-One, Anne Klein, Calvin Klein and more. There will also be door prizes and a 50/50. Concessions will be available. All proceeds will benefit The Betsey Mills Club. Tickets are $20 each and available at the club or at the door.

Behavioral Health Board to meet Thurs.

The Washington County Behavioral Health Board will next meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Washington County Health Board Office, 344 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. In addition, the steering committee will meet at the board office at 1 p.m. on Thursdays (April 27 and May 4, 11, 18, 25) and the budget committee will meet at the board office at 6 p.m. April 27.

These meetings and all meetings of the behavioral health board and its committees are open to the public.

Pancakes, plant sale at Oak Grove center

Oak Grove Recreation Center, 535 BF Goodrich Road, will have a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and plant sale from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 29. Breakfast is $5 for adults and $3 for children $3. The sale will include vegetables, hanging baskets and lots of single plants for pots and borders.

Fort Frye board meets at 6 Monday night

The regular April meeting of the Fort Frye Local Schools Board of Education has been changed to 6 p.m. Monday at Beverly-Center Elementary School, 510 Fifth St., Beverly.

O’Neill Center will be sponsoring a bus day trip to see the Letterman in Concert in Columbus, on May 3. The cost of $92 includes a luncheon in the beautiful Villa Milano. The current Lettermen consists of Tony Butala, the group’s only original member, Donovan Tea and Bobbie Poynton. From their first hit in 1961, “The Way You Look Tonight” through current hits of today the sound is undeniable Lettermen.
