Salem-Liberty PTO sponsors craft show
The Salem-Liberty Elementary School PTO will be sponsoring a Festi-Fall Vendor and Craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Salem-Liberty Elementary School, 10930 State Route 821, Lower Salem. Vendor spaces are still available for crafters for a $25 fee.
Warren Drama Dept. dinner theater
The Warren High School Drama Department will be presenting a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre production at 6 p.m. Friday in the Warren High School cafeteria. The play will be “Murder by Magic” by Eileen Moushey; dinner, a play, a clue hunt, a raffle where guests can win a multitude of prizes donated by local businesses. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students, senior citizens and children under 12. Tickets are available from any drama member or by calling the high school office at 740-678-2393. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Sanitary sewer repairs on East Spring St.
The Marietta Wastewater Department will be making a sanitary sewer repair in front of 107 East Spring St. on Monday, weather permitting. There will be no parking on either side of the street and through traffic will be limited to allow access of equipment and material. Signs will be posted. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday evening, however they may extend into the following week. Please avoid the area if possible, Please drive with caution.

Boosters craft show
The Marietta Band Boosters annual Holiday Craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Washington County Fairgrounds in the Junior Fair Building. Many talented local vendors will be selling their crafts/products. There will also be concessions and a raffle of craft items donated by the vendors. Admission at the door is $2.
Coin show this
weekend in Marietta
The Parkersburg Coin Club is sponsoring its annual fall coin show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Quality Inn on Pike Street in Marietta. Admission is free.
≤ Bi-monthly Marietta sewer bills are to only increase between 6.94 and 9.73 percent in 2018. The volume rate is being raised by 11.89 percent. Sewer customers are billed by a combination of the rate charged for volume of waste produced and a flat administrative fee.
