Waterford Twp. trustees meet Thurs.
The Waterford Township Board of trustees will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. the first Thursday of every month for the calendar year 2018 at the township building.
Beekeepers to meet Tues. at career center
The next Mid-Ohio Valley Beekeepers' Association meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Washington County Career Center. The guest speaker will be Tennessee beekeeper Joel Hausser, who will present a program on small hive beetles. The meeting is open to the public.

Commissioners meet at 10 a.m. Monday
The Board of Commissioners of Washington County will meet in special session at 10 a.m. Monday at the Washington County Emergency Operations Center, 204 Davis Ave. (lower level, rear of building), Marietta. The purpose of this public meeting is to consider a response to the Ohio Attorney General pertaining to the Ohio EPA's requirement to install sewer lines throughout the community of Devola. The public is invited to attend.
Frontier board meets at 7 p.m. Monday
The January regular meeting for the Frontier Local Schools Board of Education is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday in the Frontier High School library preceded by the finance committee meeting at 6:45.
Warren board plans work session Monday
There will be a special meeting of the Board of Education of the Warren Local school district at 5 p.m. Monday at the Warren Local Administration Office, 220 Sweetapple Road, Vincent, for the purpose of having a work session relating to the Ohio School Facilities construction project.
Fort Frye board meets at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25
The date and time of the January regular meeting of the Fort Frye Local Schools Board of Education has been changed to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the Beverly-Center Elementary cafeteria.
Signup time for New Mat library Story Hour
Registration is now underway at the New Matamoras Library for the Winter/Spring Story Hour program. Story Hour is an interactive program designed for 2-through 5-year-olds and their parent/caregiver. The program features stories, crafts, creative play and music while encouraging interaction with other children.
Programming will begin on Feb. 14 and will meet on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the library. Space is limited, registration is required.
