¯ An officer was dispatched to Twisted Sisters, 197 Front St., on Feb. 13 for a report of a window being broken.

¯ Anna Hamrick, of St. Marys, W.Va., reported Thursday that while in the Aldi’s parking lot on Pike Street a man on a bicycle approached her and exposed himself. Christopher Orin Collins, 26, of 1209 County House Lane, was charged with indecent exposure.

¯ An officer was dispatched to 101 Dale St., Apt. A. on Thursday for a welfare check for a person who hadn’t been seen for three days. A body was seen through a window and later identified. The death was found to be of natural causes.

¯ After a traffic stop Thursday, Richard Hawkins, last known address 829 Ridge St., was arrested for possession of heroin and syringes and for driving under suspension.

¯ Kenneth E. Wriston, of 687 Wynncrest Drive, reported a theft at 801 ¢ Front St. on Thursday. It was learned that a flat screen television was stolen from the residence.

¯ Fredrick Lee, of 420 Front St., reported Thursday that a license plate had been stolen from a trailer at that location sometime between Jan. 27 and Feb. 10.

¯ An officer responded to Marietta Middle School on Friday in reference to a student writing threats toward the school in his planner. A school resource officer asked patrol officers to confiscate the planner along with the boy’s phone. The student has been suspended. An investigation is ongoing and criminal charges may be filed.

¯ Officers responded to 829 Ridge St., Friday in reference to people inside the condemned residence. Kenneth Barnhart, of 10274 State Route 550, Vincent; Aaron M. Hess, of 610 Warren St.; Dustin McKnight, of 9239 State Route 60, Lowell; and Celoria Simpson, of 3395 State Route 26, Marietta, will all be summonsed for trespassing.

¯ An officer was dispatched to 736 Greene St., Apt. 16 on Friday in reference to a 13-year-old child who had left the home without permission. Officers located her and returned her to a parent.

¯ An employee of Peebles, 450 Pike St., reported a theft on Friday. A man and woman left the store without paying for jeans and cologne. A customer observed them getting into a White Pontiac with West Virginia plates.

¯ On Friday, an officer was dispatched to the Seventh Street Speedway for a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, an officer learned that an assault has occurred between a woman and her boyfriend, Ronald Davis, of 633 Phillips St. Davis was chasing her until she tripped in the 500 block of Greene Street and then assaulted her. She was able to make it to the Speedway to call for help. Davis was arrested for domestic violence.

¯ An employee of Tractor Supply reported Saturday that a woman had taken a BB gun without paying for it.

¯ Alaina D. Clift, of 307 ¢ Third St., reported a theft Sunday at 401 Lancaster St. She said the couple had been kicked out of the residence due to a dispute and after they left, multiple items were discovered stolen. This case remains under investigation.

¯ An officer was dispatched to 220 Meigs St. on Sunday in reference to the tenant there, Carla J. Baxter, repeatedly calling 911. Baxter has had several warnings about abusing public services. She said she was lonely and that was her reason for calling. Baxter was charged with disrupting public services and transported to the jail.

¯ Jennifer D. Romans, of Lews, W.Va., reported Friday that she had checks stolen and money taken from her account through the checks.
