It is election season again and occasionally in today’s growing politically venomous climate, I cringe. However, it is also a calming opportunity to cast votes for those candidates that we each believe are uniquely prepared for such times.

Once such candidate for me is Kevin Ritter. He is a friend, a man of character, patience and he has a unique ability in today’s world to carefully listen, assess the issues and effectively communicate with others.

Ritter is a leader made for today’s climate. He is someone that will thoroughly evaluate the difficult and at times seemingly insurmountable and challenging issues facing the commissioners. He will, after thoroughly researching each issue, make decisions based upon his best judgment.

Unlike some in today’s attack first then find out the facts later mentality, Ritter will be a steadying force against such attempts, which occasionally are rooted in insidious intent.

In spite of the occasional times I cringe, I am calm as I strongly encourage you to cast your precious vote for Kevin Ritter for Washington County Commissioner.
