Bernard "Gene" Carpenter, 74 of Vincent, Ohio, died on May 22, 2026 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. He was born in Marietta, Ohio on May 18, 1952 and was the son of the late Bernard Leroy and Margaret Ann Francis Carpenter. He worked for various Welding Shops as a welder fabricator. He had attended the Belpre Heights Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling, he was a sports fan, fishing and singing karaoke, especially I'm So Lonesome I could Die and God Bless the USA.
