The Belpre Police Department released the following reports on Oct. 20. Oct. 16: Anna L. Allen, 25, of Belpre was cited for having no operator license and expired registration. Alfred H. Martin III, 37, Vincent, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on fail to appear warrants out of Belpre Mayor’s Court on the charges of driving under suspension and display of license plates. Marietta Police Department

Sept. 26: ¯ Police responded to the 100 block of Manchester Drive about an air conditioning unit stolen from a house for sale. The theft occurred after July. Sept. 27: ¯ Police responded to Greene and Acme streets about a vehicle stopped in the road. Police found Dustin Lee McKnight, 38, passed out behind the wheel with a syringe between his legs. McKnight was charged with OVI, driving under suspension and possessing drug abuse instruments. Substances located in the vehicle will be sent to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for testing. Maidens, 54, 1042 Sunshine Mountain Road, Williamstown, driving a 2011 Toyota Highlander, was traveling westbound on Ohio 550 in Warren Township on Sept. 15 when she went off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete culvert and some small trees. Maidens had suspected minor injuries and was taken by the Warren Volunteer Fire Department to Marietta Memorial Hospital.
