Robert “Bob” William Schmitt, 82, of Reno, passed away peacefully at his home at 8:11pm, Friday, April 4, 2025. He was born on October 13, 1942, in Newark, Ohio, a son of Robert Schmitt and Beulah Armstrong Schmitt. He was a 1960 graduate of Windsor High School. Bob was a veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard and a member of the Waterford Church of the Nazarene. He was a lineman for United Telephone Company and later as a truck driver and a volunteer at Strecker Cancer Center.
