Gerald and Kathryn Drake

Gerald and Kathryn Drake of Belpre will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on June 15.

They were married at Waterford Methodist Church by the Rev. L.D. Phipps.

Gerald is a World War II veteran, who retired after 35 years as an educator.

Kathryn is a retired public relations clerical worker.

They have three daughters, Sandra Cassidy and Melanie Gilliand of Vincent and Marsha Jarvis of Cutler. They are grandparents of six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

They will celebrate their anniversary with a family dinner.
