She was a 1965 graduate of Marietta High School. She married Donald L. Gebhart on December 7, 1968. Sharon enjoyed her time as a secretary at Marietta High School. She was a member of Sand Hill Methodist Church, where she was in the Women’s Group and participated in the Walk to Emmaus.
