Meetings

¯ The Reno Area Water and Sewer District Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Reno Water Office, 170 Mount Tom Road. Public is welcome.

¯ An OVESC board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Lori’s Restaurant, Caldwell.

¯ Washington County Family and Children First council meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Washington County E.O.C. office, 204 Davis Ave., Suite C. For more information, call 740-376-7081.

Vacation Bible School

¯ Fairlawn Baptist Church will hold its Vacation Bible School from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today through Friday. Bible school is for ages 3 to sixth grade. A light snack will be provided. Board election

¯ There will be an election for two Reno Water Board trustees from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Reno Water and Sewer District Office, 170 Mount Tom Road. This will be a 3-year Trustee term. Only one vote per household.

Bingo

¯ A bingo, games and more benefit for Tammy Jackson of Beverly-Waterford will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Social Hall at 307 Seventh St., Beverly. Admission is $25 at the door and $20 in advance. Proceeds to help Tammy pay for cancer related medical costs. Contact Erica Branham at 740-525-2829 to schedule an advance reservation. Sixteen bingo games will be held. The first 15 games will have a $25 cash payout; the 16th game will be a coverall with a $100 cash payout. Food concessions will be available. A country store, silent auction, 50/50 drawing and a live auction for two guns are also planned for the event.

Dinner

¯ St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Parish chicken or ham dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. June 28 in the church social hall at 307 Seventh St., Beverly. Adult meals are $13, and child meals for ages 10 and under are $5. Take-outs available. The meal includes many side dishes, dessert and beverage. Games for children and bingo.
