WASHINGTON, W.Va. – The renovated pool at DERC in Washington has reopened.
To commemorate the 70th year of the pool, a team has worked to create an exceptional swimming facility. The newly renovated pool includes a new enclosed stainless steel trough system, brand new top bottom PVC liner and a chlorinator system.
DERC Park at 252 Downey Road is open for all to join and serves the Mid-Ohio Valley. Some of their community offerings include hiking trails, biking trails, walking trails, basketball courts, tennis courts, gun range, skeet range, swimming pool, Dolphins swim team, baseball field, batting cage, fishing pond, fitness center, yoga classes, Camp Crawdad Summer Childcare, picnic shelter rentals, event center rentals and the DERC boat dock Ohio River access.
