Seventh annual 5k Run/Walk, Firefighter Challenge Walk to be held Saturday
TUPPERS PLAINS — The seventh annual 5K Run/Walk and Firefighter Challenge Walk sponsored by the Tuppers Plains Volunteer Fire Department in Meigs County will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The race will start and finish at the fire station at 42040 Main St. in Tuppers Plains.
Registration is from 8:45-9:45 a.m. Saturday and at www.raceentry.com/races/tuppers-plains-vfd-5k-runwalkfire-challenge/2025 /register to ensure a race shirt. Shirt supplies are limited.

Firefighters can compete in the Firefighters Challenge by walking the course in full gear. SCBA packs or fire boots will not be required as comfortable shoes are recommended.
Race categories are firefighter walker not in gear as a regular participant, 15 and younger walker, 16-64 walker, 65 and older walker, firefighter challenge (walk in full gear), firefighter runner (not in gear), 15 and younger runner, 16-64 runner and 65 and older runner.
