Beverly American Legion Post 389 will sponsor a public all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children age 10 and under. Proceeds benefit American flag displays in Beverly and Waterford.
The Washington County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet March 21 at 1 p.m. in the lower level meeting room of the Washington County Public Library, 615 Fifth St. Jayne Stehle will speak about “Testing DNA, Comparing Services and Websites.” Visitors are welcome at the meetings and free parking is available on the street or in the adjacent parking lot. The facility is handicapped accessible.
The Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the next Professional Women’s Roundtable meeting March 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. at da Vinci’s, 215 Highland Ave., Williamstown. The topic is “Easy Efficient Estate Planning” with Ryan Smith from The Law Office of Ryan M. Smith. The cost is $10 for members and $15 for the general public and includes lunch. WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center and the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Marietta will sponsor a free first aid clinic March 28 at 10 a.m. in the church fellowship hall, 232 Third St. The one-hour Stop The Bleed clinic will be taught by Dr. Bill Cline, Camden Clark Trauma Director Chris Dellinger and their staff. Peoples Bank Theatre will host a one-night showing of “The Library That Dolly Built” April 2 at 7 p.m. The new documentary focuses on Dolly Parton’s efforts to increase literacy through the Imagination Library program. Tickets are $12.50 per person. Every two movie tickets purchased will help support the cost of one child’s registration in the Imagination Library program.
