NEWPORT – The Ohio Water Development Authority (OWDA) announced the approval of low interest loans for two projects in Newport (Washington County) and McArthur (Vinton County) on Tuesday to improve wastewater and drinking water infrastructure and make water quality improvements for Ohioans. PARKERSBURG – A candidate for the House of Delegates is set for a hearing on a charge of domestic battery involving his father later this month. Justin Matthew Beanard, 137 Onward Road, Williamstown, is running for the House of Delegates seat for District 10. He was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court in February. According to the criminal complaint, on Dec. 15, Wood County sheriff's deputies responded to a residence on New England Ridge Road in Washington, W.Va., in reference to a domestic incident in progress.
