Mattison Stewart Jr.

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Mattison Stewart Jr., on September 16, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on July 5,1974 in Parkersburg, WV, to Brenda Rummer and Mattison Stewart SR.

Matt was preceded in death by his father Mattison Stewart SR and grandmother Harriett Lipscomb.

Matt was an Ohio State fan and thoroughly enjoyed all things sports.

Matt had a laugh that infected the entire room and a sense of humor to match. There was never a dull moment when he was around.

Matt leaves behind his wife Angela Stewart and children Caleb and Grace Stewart. Mother Brenda Rummer, sister Tammi Murphy, brother Curtis Ford, nieces Hailey Barnes and Makenzie Murphy and nephew Edward Ford and many cousins and other family members.

There will be a celebration of life 2-5 p.m. October 11th, 2025, at 245 County Road 9, Marietta, Ohio.
