William “Bill” Kelly
William “Bill” Kelly, age 78, passed away at his residence in Little Hocking, Ohio, February 3, 2026. He was born May 2, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Harry and Helen Kelly.
Surviving are his wife and soulmate of 53 years, Roberta Sue Kelly, a very special “sister” Anita Vaughan, his best friend Rick Murphy and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he also was predeceased in death by his brother James Kelly.
Bill was very proud of all he accomplished in life. He was an Air Force veteran, a landlord, an athlete, long distance runner, street racing in his Nova, driving the car he built for dirt track racing and graduating high school on stage at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Many thanks go out to Cawley Hospice, especially Danielle. Many wonderful caregivers from Right At Home became very good friends, especially Tim, Janet and Anita. They cared for and loved Bill until the end.
Per his wishes, no services are planned. Bill donated his body to Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Athens, Ohio.
