Shirley Mae Mettler, 82, of Dexter City, Ohio, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at Astoria Place of Cambridge in Cambridge. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, 609 West St., Caldwell. Burial will follow in Keith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born on February 16, 1935 in Beverly, Ohio, son of Walter and Kathleen Stiers Tyson. He grew up in Beverly, graduated from Beverly High School in 1953, and built a life defined by service and dedication. Ronald married the love of his life, Helen L.
