Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and an hour before the service. SCHELL, Agatha J. – 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West St., Caldwell. Visitation, 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 17. SPARE, Alvera - Funeral will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, Ohio. Pamela Sue Creighton passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. She was born on February 1, 1959, to John and Pansy Britton. Throughout her life, Pamela valued learning and education. In pursuit of new experiences, she served in the United States Army shortly after graduating from Marietta High School. She later continued her education at Washington State Community College, where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. Alvera Spare, 83, of McConnelsville passed away July 8, 2026 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. She was born November 28, 1942 in Johnstown, PA., a daughter of the late Carl Marcus and Josephine Verba Marcus. She was a homemaker and was a member of the former Grace United Methodist Church and was a current member of the McConnelsville Methodist Church. She had worked as a part-time babysitter for local families and enjoyed cooking and sewing. In 1976 she was 1 of the 100 finalists in the Pillsbury Bake-Off held in Boston.
