Gracious gifts
At the Marietta Sternwheel festival, this year as in many other years prior the local skateboard community got together with a booth of information about the plans and condition of Marietta’s skateboard park. The skateboarders would like to thank the City of Marietta and the Town House on Front Street for their kindness and generous time and donations to maintain the cement skate park at Indian Acres park. All the donations have been put into our community foundation account and will be used for maintenance. We are currently trying to apply for grants to add an addition to our great park. Thank you Marietta!
