Zonta Club of MOV Fall Unique Boutique

The Zonta Club of the MOV would like to thank the community for their continued support of our gently used bi-annual clothing sale the Unique Boutique. This is our largest fundraiser, and all proceeds benefit our service projects, including our scholarships to Washington State College of Ohio. These scholarships benefit non-traditional female college students. We also work to bring awareness for the need of feminine hygiene products, undies, bras, and deodorant in the area with our Delicates for Dignity project. We would like to thank the Women’s Giving Circle through the Marietta ...

Presidential quotes I won’t forget

Donald Trump said many things when he ran for president the first time. Two things that I never wanted to forget and wanted my descendants to always remember I engraved in my cabin wall. The first and I quote “don’t believe what you see and don’t believe what you hear believe what I tell you,” (In other words you aren’t smart enough to think for yourself.) He also serves on the board of directors for Peoples Bank Theatre and ...

Ron Wesel for 4th Ward for Marietta City Council

Ron Wesel is running as a candidate for City Council representing the 4th Ward of the City of Marietta. My name is Stephan McCarthy, and I am a lifelong resident of the City of Marietta, 4th Ward, and I believe that Ron is the best candidate for our Ward as I have known him most of my life. Ron grew up working at the family business, Marietta Ignition, here in Marietta, from a very early age. There he developed a strong work ethic and the ability to work with the public to help them with solving the myriad of problems they may have had with their vehicles, farm equipment, ...
