The O’Neill Center thanks college students

The O’Neill Center would like to thank students from the leadership program at Marietta College who worked with us on Make a Difference Day, Oct. 16. The students received a grant through The Enterprise Holdings Foundation and Evans Civic Engagement, who agreed to help support Marietta College’s student service efforts this year. Because of the efforts of the students, we were able to place solar lights in our landscaping at our activity and service centers. Showing Support No doubt about it, Marietta City Schools is suffering a string of losing academic seasons— Ds and Fs on Ohio’s public report card. Medicine Take Back Day

Medication Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This is an opportunity to dispose of unused, expired and/or unwanted medication. There are several disposal sites and meds can be dropped off anonymously, no questions asked. You do not have to remove labels from bottles and we will accept any and all medications, including syringes, patches and liquids. Why turn in your unused medications?
