As a former councilman and county commissioner, I want to express my support for Ron Wesel, candidate for Marietta City Council 4th Ward. Ron is a lifelong resident of Marietta as well as a businessman. Ron has a vision for strengthening business in Marietta and I believe he will be a great asset toward growing our local economy. Ohio lawmakers are missing an opportunity to show they are capable of stepping up when federal lawmakers do not. According to a report by the Ohio Capital Journal, there have not yet been any hearings — nor are any scheduled — for House Bill 502, “Appropriate funds for SNAP, TANF, WIC upon lapse in federal funds.” Introduced by Rep.
